A few weeks ago I received news that Emi & Ben had been shortlisted out of over 100 businesses to take part in a competition supported by funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) on behalf of The Prince's Trust. The aim of the unique initiative was to inspire and help young business like mine mine to grow.
Tonight I attended the launch of the event at a venue in Clerkenwell where each of the 11 shortlisted businesses came to learn more about the competition and the prize at stake; a £3,000 cash injection.
One of the key speakers at the launch was BBC Apprentice cycle 4 contest Raef Bjayoe (see picture above), whose speech helped to set the tone for the competition and get the final 11 ready to go for growth!
I've said it before and I'll continue to say it, The Prince's Trust rock. Visit their website here www.princes-trust.org.uk
